Floofy Farms LLC Terms & Conditions - Goats
By purchasing Nigerian Dwarf goats from Floofy Farms LLC, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions below.
HEALTH AND TESTING: Herd health and biosecurity is top priority to us. Our entire herd is annually tested for CAE for those over 6 months of age. All goats that come to our herd are quarantined and tested for CAE, CL, and Johne's before fully integrating into our herd. All kids are sold disbudded (horns removed). Kids who are sold at 8 weeks old are given two rounds of CD/T vaccine. Kids who are sold younger and on a bottle would not receive CD/T due to being too young. We perform fecal tests to check for coccidiosis and are always monitoring our kids for any signs or symptoms.
RESERVATIONS: Reservations for kids are accepted to receive priority and reserve a specific kid from a desired pairing. We require a $100 non-refundable deposit for does/bucks and $50 non-refundable deposit for wethers. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and will not be returned if you choose to cancel your reservation. The deposit can be transferred to other kids if they are available or to the following kidding year. We reserve the right to have first pick on any kid born. Reservations receive priority after us, if we choose to keep a kid from that pairing. We will typically accept one doe reservation and one buck reservation per dam each year. If we are expecting a large number of kids from a particular dam via ultrasound count, we may allow additional reservations for that dam. If there are multiple reservations, priority pick will be in order of deposit received.
FREE WAITLIST: We maintain a waitlist for those interested in kids from us. Being on this list is free of charge and allows us to contact you with kid availability after reservations have been filled. PICK-UP: Kids must be picked up within one week of the agreed upon window. We do offer kids to go home early on a bottle for a discounted rate. Kids must be picked up at 8-9 weeks of age. Kids are fully weaned unless requested to remain on a bottle. Some herds (including us) like to keep their kids on milk longer for optimal growth/reaching breeding age requirements.
TRANSPORTATION: We are happy to work with you on setting up transportation. We have experience working with multiple reputable transporters to deliver/receive kids from across the country and are happy to recommend options. Buyer is responsible for all health certificates, veterinary exams, tests, shipping, crate, and any additional costs associated with transport.
REGISTRATION: All purchased kids are ADGA registered and tattooed unless otherwise requested, such as for pet homes. Registered names are chosen by the buyer but we reserve the right to request certain themes be maintained and ability to veto name choices.
SUCCESS OF OUR SOLD KIDS: We strive to produce kids who excel at milk production, in the show ring, and in your herd but we cannot guarantee the success of any animal we sell. Herd management is a large factor to success in performance herds. We are happy to share our own experience and advice with you based on your goals.
